Privacy Policy

How Jobvox handles your data

Effective May 8, 2026. This policy explains what data Nimvox LLC collects when you use Jobvox, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect the information needed to create your account, authenticate you, and provide Jobvox job discovery, matching, and workflow features.

  • Account and sign-in data, including your email address, password hash, and basic profile details.
  • OAuth sign-in data from providers such as Google or GitHub, limited to the identity fields those providers return for authentication.
  • Resume content, resume-derived insights, saved jobs, tracked career-page URLs, application workflow activity, and related settings you add inside Jobvox.
  • Product telemetry such as IP address, browser information, and request logs needed to secure and operate the service.

How we use data

  • Authenticate you, maintain your account, and secure access to Jobvox.
  • Discover jobs, rank matches, and power application-tracking workflows.
  • Generate product features you request, including resume analysis and AI-assisted job insights.
  • Send transactional messages such as verification emails, password resets, billing notices, and support replies.
  • Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and improve the performance of the service.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your data for third-party advertising profiles.

When we share data

We share data only with subprocessors and providers needed to operate Jobvox, and only to the extent required for that purpose.

  • Authentication providers such as Google or GitHub when you choose social sign-in.
  • Cloud and infrastructure providers that host, secure, and deliver the service.
  • AI model providers when you explicitly use AI-powered features such as resume analysis or job-fit assistance.
  • Payment processors for subscription and billing workflows.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the security of our users and systems.

Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account remains active. Resume data and saved workflow information remain available until you delete them or request account deletion.

  • Job listing data is retained for operational windows used by the product.
  • Diagnostic logs are retained for security and reliability needs.
  • After account cancellation, data is deleted according to our operational retention schedule unless a legal hold applies.

Security

  • Sensitive data is protected in transit with HTTPS.
  • Authentication state is stored in secure, HTTP-only cookies.
  • Access to production systems is restricted to authorized operational personnel.
  • We use logging, access controls, and secret management to reduce operational risk.

No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we work to apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.

Your choices and rights

You can update account information inside the product, choose whether to use social sign-in, and request deletion of your account data.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal data. We will handle those requests in accordance with applicable law.
